Initial Assessment & Planning Session

This 45-minute initial assessment and planning session is the first step in learning with Together We Learn. It’s a great chance to get to know each other, discuss your child’s learning needs, and spend time with your child.
The session includes an informal assessment and observation to help Rachael understand your child’s strengths and areas for support. Any reports you provide will also be reviewed beforehand, so we can discuss the best next steps for your child’s learning development.

With exams closing in, the last few weeks before your VCE finals matter more than almost any other point in the year. TWL VCE Exams Countdown is a dedicated small-group tutoring program designed to help Year 11 & 12 students walk into every Unit 3 / 4 exam feeling prepared, not just familiar with the content, but genuinely exam-ready.
How it works
Every subject runs 4 sessions a week, from 21 September through to that subject's own exam date — so you're never paying for weeks you don't need. Each week follows the same proven structure:
Session 1: Study Skills and Exam Practice - real exam technique, marking criteria, common mistakes, how to actually earn the marks
Session 2: Topic 1 Revision — Refer to subject topic menu
Session 3: Topic 2 Revision — Refer to subject topic menu
Session 4: Topic 3 Revision — Refer to subject topic menu
And in your final week before the exam, every session shifts to full Study Skills and Exam Practice, so you finish with a complete week of exam practice.

Alex (Chemistry) — ATAR 98.50 (VCE 2025). Study scores above 40 across English, Mathematical Methods, Physical Education, Chemistry, Health and Human Development, plus Physics - top 10% state-wide. A self-directed learner with strong content knowledge, time-management and motivation skills, keen to help students enjoy learning and build skills beyond VCE, not just chase results.
Eloise (Biology, French, General Maths, HHD) — ATAR 94.00 (VCE 2025). Strong results across General Maths, Psychology, Biology, Health and Human Development, English and French. Immersed in French during a 3-month exchange. Background in peer tutoring at Kardinia International College; hands-on, tailors teaching to how each student learns.
Delilah (English & Biology) — ATAR 94.80 (VCE 2025). Strong scores in English, Psychology, General Maths and Biology. Understands the pressure of balancing dense coursework firsthand; collaborative, structured approach that breaks problems down step-by-step in a calm, encouraging way.
Olivia (Maths Methods) — ATAR 99.05 (VCE 2024). Nearly five years' tutoring experience, worked with 15+ VCE students since graduating. Believes confidence is the key to doing well, aims for students to leave every session feeling more capable.
Kelsey (French & English) — GPA 3.8/4 (postgrad Philosophy). IB background, currently completing a Master of Teaching (Secondary). Grew up in Montana, US; lived in France Sept 2023–June 2024 to strengthen French fluency, and was a French teacher's assistant/tutor at Westminster University. Tutors English, Maths, French and Geography; focuses on independent thinking and tailoring delivery to each student while meeting curriculum standards.
Amelie (Psychology & Literature) — ATAR 92.35 (VCE 2025). Strong scores in General Mathematics, Biology, Literature and Psychology. Mentoring experience through leadership roles and violin tuition. Creative, finds varied ways to explain tricky concepts; calm and supportive approach aimed at building confidence and comfort asking questions.

Fees and Payment
1. Choose how many sessions you'd like. Check the Timetable and Subject Topic Menu on our website to help decide.2. Purchase your sessions, complete your information and complete payment via the Enrol Now button. Payment is required upfront, processed securely online via Stripe (credit or debit card, additional processing fees may apply).
3. Press ‘Use Package’ to schedule your sessions or use the package code sent to your email when ready to schedule.
We will send you the online meeting link to your email provided at least 48hrs before each session.
Fees for tutoring services delivered by VCE Graduates 92-99 ATAR Score, for 60-mins are:
1-4 sessions: $55 per session

Together We Learn - VCE Exams Countdown provides tutoring services for secondary-aged students.Booking and Scheduling
All sessions will be scheduled at the time of booking. Online meeting links will be emailed to the parent and student contact email addresses provided.Fees and Payment
Payment is required at the time of booking. Payments are made online via Stripe using credit/debit card. Additional payment processing fees may apply. Fees for tutoring services are:1-4 sessions: $55 per session
5-sessions: $250 - $50 per session
10-sessions: $450 - $45 per session
Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled session. Sessions may be rescheduled subject to availability. With less than 48 hours' notice, or in the case of a no-show, a rescheduled session will not be offered, as tutors are still compensated for their time and commitment. If a tutor cancels due to illness, a make-up session will be arranged. No refunds will be provided for unused sessions unless agreed upon in writing by Together We Learn.
Student Responsibilities Students are expected to log in to online sessions on time. A respectful and focused learning environment is expected during all sessions.
Confidentiality Together We Learn respects the privacy of students and their families. All personal information provided will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties without prior consent, except where required by law.
Liability Together We Learn is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage that may occur during teaching sessions, except in cases of negligence or misconduct.

One student is learning with a qualified teacher. We offer private tuition to focus on your child’s unique learning needs, helping them progress at their own pace with personalised lessons.
45-min & 60-min lessons, includes a 5-min handover discussion with the parent.
60-min VCE tutoring by highly-qualified VCE graduates, who provide targeted, exam-focused support tailored to each student.
Please note: All students must undertake an introductory session to build relationships and gain an assessment for your child’s learning level. Together We Learn will then plan a tailored learning program.

School Readiness (Ages 3–5)
We are preparing to launch School Readiness programs aimed at children aged 3 to 5 years. These programs will focus on developing foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, social-emotional development, and independence, ensuring a smooth transition to formal schooling. Please enquire if interested and we will commence lessons.
Foundation to Year 10 (Ages 5–16)
Our current teaching services cater to students from Foundation to Year 10, teaching English and Mathematics subjects.
VCE Year 10 - Year 12 (Ages 16–18)
Excitingly we have some highly-qualified VCE graduates with 92-99 ATAR scores to tutor VCE students. Enquire now with subject requests to ensure we have exceeding graduates to support.
Paired Lesson*

Two students learning with a qualified teacher. A collaborative, engaging environment for students at similar levels. Reduces the intensity of 1-on-1 and creates an enjoyable social learning interaction with other students. Complete the session with a parent discussion about the learning.
* Please note: Shared lessons are offered at Together We Learn’s discretion, following an introductory session and assessment, and subject to the availability of students with similar abilities who do not require 1-on-1 support.
